MAKING A TANK TOP
Descriptions of how to make a shirt
STEP 1: FOLDING/CUTTING FABRIC
Folding the fabric in half, place the fabric atop of the pattern tracing it with a pen or pencil and cut it accordingly with a pair of scissors for the first piece. Then following the same steps do it for the back piece.
STEP 2: SEWING THE SIDES, TOP, AND HEM
Turn the fabric inside out and sew the sides with a stitch of personal tastes then stitch up the two pieces atop which look like a square. Then, to make the hem, fold about half an inch inwards forming a half-circle and sewing the stitch according to the form. (Reference the work cited source for diagrams and further explanations.)
STEP 3: VIEWING THE FINAL PRODUCT
Turn the fabric back to reveal the final product. I did not want to add ruffles to my product but if you would like to reference the work cited source to find deeper explanations and images.
